The mysterious appearance of a river in the Nachi community of Udi LGA, Enugu state has come to be the intriguing topic of the day. According to the people of the community, the last time the river was seen, was in 1992, practically 21 years ago.
The healing river popularly called "River Orimiri" (Jordan river) is known to cure sicknesses and diseases. Now it has become a means of making cool cash by the Okada men of the town has they charge high to take passengers to the river place.

The river resurfaced again on the 11th of Nov., first seen this year by fulani herdsmen who went to graze their cattles, only to meet a river on their way back, the same way they passed earlier.
