Husband "Ben Norskov" is a American, recently married to an Indian woman "Mohini Freya Dutta" . They got married in July, earlier this year in New York and are supposed to head to India for the big family wedding.
However, after the wedding, Ben is going to come back to America without his lovely wife due to the absence of her green card.
The office that deals with requests to travel overseas while an application is being considered has been closed for two weeks due to the Us government shutdown.
Now Dutta will have to spend eight months apart from her new husband as she applies for that green card from India.
