PINK, the sassy, rock like Singer, has earned her way to becoming, the billboard woman of the year, so "Raise your Glass" and give her a big toast.
She will be officially honored with the distinction at a ceremony in New York City on December and said in a statement that she's "shocked and surprised" over the award
"It's been an incredible year and I feel so grateful to radio for sticking by me, and to the fans and friends and all of the incredible talent that I was fortunate enough to work with for this album," Pink said.
The singer earned her fourth number-one single on the Hot 100 a few months ago with "Just Give Me a Reason," a duet with Fun.'s Nate Ruess, and "The Truth About Love" became her first number-one album on the Billboard 200.
She has a fan in Kelly Clarkson and is an open supporter of gay rights.
"Pink has almost been in a class by herself among women in music this year, and we’re thrilled to recognize her successes by honoring her with the Billboard Woman of the Year Award," said Bill Werde, Billboard's Editorial Director.
